TAMIS participates in the European consortium TEMS (Trusted European Media Data Space), whose objective is to design and deploy a secure and trusted data space for companies in the media and audiovisual sector. This data space will allow organizations to cooperate by sharing and using their data in a mutually beneficial framework, in compliance with European data protection requirements.

TEMS, a structuring European project

The TEMS project is led by a consortium of 42 organizations from 12 European countries, with a total budget of €16.5 million over three years. It was officially launched on October 24 and 25, 2023, in Bilbao.

It is supported by the European Commission’s Digital Europe Programme, which is co-financing it with €8 million.

Objectives of the TEMS project

The TEMS project aims to:

  • Develop a secure and reliable data space for media companies
  • Accelerate the digital transformation and strengthen the competitiveness of the European media industry
  • Facilitate the creation of new digital alliances between industry players for data access, sharing, and governance
  • Support media companies in combating disinformation and improving audience analytics
  • Help media stakeholders fulfill their missions of informing, entertaining, and educating the public
  • Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence and virtual reality
