TAMIS

Trusted Audiovisual Metadata Interconnection Space

Discoverability of assets

Smarter metadata

More value from contents

Secure and sovereign

TAMIS (for Trusted Audiovisual Metadata Interconnexion Space) is a framework to exchange, enrich, consult, a trusted media data environment where audiovisual stakeholders can exchange, enrich, consult, reuse data securely in an interoperable manner throughout the content lifecycle. TAMIS will also be available through TEMS (Trusted European Media DataSpace).

What TAMIS enables

European Trust

Media Interconnection

Interoperable metadata

Trusted data Exploitation

TAMIS helps organisations improve the quality, circulation, and exploitation of audiovisual metadata across production, distribution, and monetisation workflows.

As of today, a lot of information and metadata (descriptive or technical) are lost during the production process, making it mandatory to redo many actions.

A large number of stakeholders are involved in the audiovisual value chain, each with its own information system. TAMIS can help provide the audiovisual production ecosystem with a decentralised data exchange network, enabling interoperability between these multiple actors and a data tracking solution for audiovisual work.

Differents Uses cases

TAMIS addresses the needs of the fragmented european market by offering tools to enable interaction within the data space. These include « connectors as a service, » software applications for managing proprietary data and shared data obtained through TEMS or TAMIS, and specialized solutions for use cases such as content production, distribution, or rights management. A core functionality of TAMIS is facilitating collaboration within trusted user groups.

For example, during a film’s production, a producer must share a wide range of data with post-production teams handling editing, visual effects, soundtracks, dubbing, and subtitling. Each stakeholder needs real-time access to the latest updates for both creative and technical versions of the film. Simultaneously, the producer interacts with broadcasters, rights management organizations, international distributors, and other stakeholders.

Automatic ID and discoverability

TAMIS uses automated identification and secure metadata exchange to enhance TV programme discoverability, streamlining version control and reducing duplication across organisations.
