This site is built to collect as little as possible. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising, no social tracking, and no cookie is needed to browse it. This page describes exactly what is processed, why, and for how long.
This page is being reviewed by the TAMIS consortium. Its content reflects how the site actually works, but the parts marked [to be completed] are still to be supplied, and the whole page is subject to legal review before the public launch.

When you browse the site
Each page view is counted so that we know which content is useful. This measurement uses NO cookie and no third-party service. Your IP address and browser identification are never stored as such: they are combined with a key that changes regularly and turned into an irreversible fingerprint. This lets us count visits without being able to trace them back to you, or to follow you from one day to the next. Robots are excluded. When you write to us
The contact form collects your name and email address, optionally your organisation and role, together with the reason for writing and your message. They are used only to answer you, are sent to the TAMIS team and to no one else, and are deleted after 24 months. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box before sending.
When you download a resource
Two things are recorded when you download a document. A running total per resource, which says how many times that file has ever been downloaded and contains nothing about who downloaded it. And one line per download, so that we can tell which resources are consulted over a given period. That line holds the resource, the moment of the download, an irreversible fingerprint of your IP address and browser identification built with a key that changes every day, and, if you arrived from another page, the address of that page reduced to its site and path. Query parameters are removed before anything is stored. The daily key means these lines cannot be linked together from one day to the next. They are deleted after 13 months; only the running total, which identifies no one, is kept beyond that.
Emails the site sends

These records are deleted after 13 months.
Back-office accounts
Members of the editorial team have an account holding their name, email address and role. Sign-in and sign-out events are logged for security and kept for 24 months. Accounts are deleted when access is withdrawn.
Where your data is
All data is hosted in the European Union, and nothing is transferred outside it. The fonts used by the site are served from our own servers, so opening a page sends no request to a third party.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, its correction or its erasure, and you may object to its processing or ask for it to be restricted. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Write to us through the contact form. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; in France, the CNIL.
